Celebrating 50 years of Social Science in the Philippines

The Institute of Philippine Culture (IPC) will be celebrating its 50th anniversary this September through a month-long series of events. Among these are a lecture series, public fora, book launch, and exhibit to highlight the current research of the IPC. On September 15, 2010, there will be a grand homecoming of all those who have been part of the IPC since 1960. The event will begin with a mass at 9am to be officiated by Fr. Noel D. Vasquez, SJ at the IPC Conference Room, a communal story-telling at 3:00pm at the Social Development Complex Auditorium to be followed by a homecoming party at 5:00pm at the Frank Lynch Hall grounds.
